Between yesterday and today, I deep-cleaned the entire house. I am exhausted, but happy it’s done. My feets hurt.Very badly. I see a darvocet in my near future. Yay.
Having the bloodhound, as much as we love him, is a detriment to a clean house. The drool factor is huge, and I’m daily cleaning up after him with clorox wipes. The stuff he flings against the walls, and the cabinentry, and the appliances, and what not, has the consistency of soupy glue. I like to scrub everything down completely with Murphy’s Oil Soap every couple weeks, but the wipes do a great job for the everyday clean up. We use them everywhere, and keep a container right on the counter within easy reach.
Had friends over for dinner tonight, and got take-away Chinese from China Garden-yum! Tomorrow, I plan to do a whole lot of nothing, since I did so much the last two days. My body needs to recuperate-I do not want to flare just before Thanksgiving. That would totally suck. Anyway, I plan on watching a couple movies, and maybe organizing some stuff on the compy. Lately I’ve gotten lazy when I’ve been saving stuff, and I’ve just been throwing it in a main folder, and not segregating it into my little subfolders. I’m so completely anal usually.
I’m really psyched about Rudy Guiliani running for Pres in ’08, btw. I’m not a Repub, neither am I technically a Democ. TECHNICALLY, I’m not even registered, much to the shame and embarassment of my father. I’m almost 37 years old, and have never voted. Ever. Horrible, I know. I promised myself though that if old Rudy ran, I would register & vote. What he did for NYC during the whole 9/11 thing was great, and I really feel like he would do our country a world of good.
Speaking of my dear old Dad, I still haven’t heard from him, and I haven’t tried calling him again either. I might this weekend, I have to give it some more thought. *shakes head* He’s such a jerk.
